Managing any business can be challenging in the current environment, but managing a family business can be especially challenging as family considerations add additional levels of complexity to the tasks of management. This course will explore the balancing of interests of the stakeholders, what forms a family business can take and unique considerations to consider about working in or for a family business. This course is ideal for someone who is part of a family business, wants to own their own family business or wants to advise a family business. Offered as MGMT 321 and MGMT 421 .
