Catalog description

The Role of Nonprofits in the Community Ecosystem is an intensive course designed for future business and nonprofit leaders who are ready to move beyond "Nonprofit 101." This course treats nonprofits not as individual entities, but as critical civic infrastructure--powerful connectors, innovators, and drivers of equity within the broader community ecosystem of government, philanthropy, and business. The curriculum culminates in a unique, 4-day immersion experience that includes site visits to key Cleveland nonprofits and a leadership roundtable, providing unparalleled, on-the-ground synthesis of theory and practice. You will gain the conceptual tools and strategic perspective necessary to lead, collaborate, and drive impact in complex, cross-sector environments.
