Catalog description

Groups and teams are ubiquitous in our daily lives. They help us find solutions, achieve goals, and create opportunities. Often, however, little attention is paid to understanding how teams function and how we can promote team effectiveness. This course integrates theory and practice to improve your conceptual understanding of teams and your ability to intervene in teams as a team member, team leader, and/or team consultant. We will explore questions such as: How do teams develop over time? What makes a team effective? What behaviors promote psychological safety? And other team topics of interest to you.
