Catalog description
Natural Resources Law is a writing seminar focusing on the federal laws governing the protection, exploitation, management, and use of natural resources, including (but not limited to) those resources found on federal lands. In addition to covering concepts relevant to natural resources management (such as commons problems) and constitutional questions related to natural resources, it is anticipated the course will cover the primary federal land management statutes, the Endangered Species Act, the Marine Mammal Protection Act, and the Outer Continental Shelf Act.
