Catalog description
This one-credit seminar is designed to meet first-year law students at the beginning of a transformative and sometimes disorienting journey and give them the practical tools, self-awareness, and professional relationships they need to thrive. The course addresses professional identity formation, networking, interviewing, career exploration, and client-centered service. The course also includes a cultural competency component that prepares students for participation in the 1L Client Experience pro bono brief advice clinic.
