The purpose of this half-semester course is to examine the rapidly evolving area of treatment for genetic disorders, both rare and common. We will discuss the mechanisms of therapy for genetic disorders, as well as the ethical issues, risks, benefits, and limitations of each treatment. Prereq: GENE 524 .
