Catalog description

Process design fundamentals for biological reactors applied to environmental engineering processes, including wastewater treatment, bioremediation, and bioenergy production. Topics include mass balances, fixed-growth reactors, kinetics, microbial ecology, molecular biology and bioinformatics tools, and reactor models. Offered as ECIV 358 and ECIV 458 . Prereq: CHEM 111 and ECIV 268 or Requisites Not Met permission.
