Civil Engineering Senior Project

Catalog description

This is a capstone course for civil engineering students. Material from previous and concurrent courses will be used to complete a multidisciplinary engineering design project. Course will include professional engineering topics such as project management, engineering design, communications, and professional ethics. Requirements include periodic reporting of progress, plus a final oral presentation and written report. Class lectures will include professional development topics, guest speakers, and interactive workshops. Recommended Preparation: One or more ECIV design focused courses. Counts as a Capstone Project course. Counts as a SAGES Senior Capstone course. Prereq: Senior student standing.
