Catalog description

This course introduces essential laboratory techniques for environmental biotechnology. Topics covered include: pipetting, sterile technique, plaque assays, PCR, and gel electrophoresis. All students will end the course by designing and executing a small independent project. This course is designed for first-year undergrads, though others are welcome to enroll if space permits.
