Catalog description

Students will learn best practices for developing secure software. The course will utilize common industry metrics, including the OWASP Top 10, to identify code vulnerabilities and learn how to defend against potential exploits. Students will be able to identify and defend against top vulnerabilities including SQL Injection, XSS, and more. This course will include both developing secure software and analyzing existing software for vulnerabilities. Prereq: CSDS 344 and CSDS 132 .
