Clinical Observation and Assisting I

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce D1 students to clinical operations. Students will observe the various clinical operations/procedures including but not limited to admissions/oral diagnosis, radiographic exposure, and charting. Students are to observe and assist in hygiene visits, restorative treatment, prosthetic treatment, and other treatments provided in the DMD clinic. Students are also to observe the usage of AxiUm and the operations of the dispensary and dirty window.
