Catalog description
This course equips third-year Chemistry Ph.D. students with practical skills in professional scientific writing. Topics include building a manuscript-ready outline, designing clear figures, and structuring a paper for journal submission. The primary deliverable is a working dissertation outline submitted to the thesis committee chair for approval. The zero-credit course is scheduled in the fall of year three as part of the department's Ph.D. readiness sequence. Prereq: CHEM 605 .
