Catalog description

This course will introduce the principles guiding the development of the nervous system. Students will learn molecular mechanisms governing the formation of vertebrate and invertebrate nervous systems and become versed on pioneering research studies leading to major discoveries in the field. This course fulfills the neurobiology core requirement for the B.S. in Neuroscience and the organismal breadth requirement of the B.A. and B.S. in Biology. Offered as BIOL 381 and BIOL 481 . Prereq or Coreq: Undergraduate Student and BIOL 216 or Requisites Not Met permission.
