Disciplinary Communication Seminar in Cancer Biology

Catalog description

This seminar is a Disciplinary Communication course for majors in Biology, though any undergraduate or graduate student can also take it for regular credit. The course will provide a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects of scientific research with an emphasis on Cancer biology. This course will include a writing portion (5000 words) and an oral presentation. For the graduate level course, there will be an additional writing assignment (Literature review). This course will count towards the required disciplinary communication seminar. This course can also count as an upper-level biology elective course. Offered as BIOL 334 and BIOL 434 . Counts as a Disciplinary Communication course. Prereq: Undergraduate student and BIOL 214 and ( BIOL 215 or BIOL 216 ) or Requisites Not Met permission.
