Catalog description

Discussion of current topics in biochemical research using readings from the scientific literature. The goals are for the student: 1) to discuss and critically analyze selections from the biochemical literature; 2) to gain a broader understanding of important topics not formally covered in the didactic courses; and 3) to learn to write in the style of journals in the field of biochemistry. Counts as a Disciplinary Communication course. Prereq: BIOC 307 and BIOC 308 . Restricted to majors in Biochemistry.
