This course is a companion to ANTH 359 : Introduction to Global Health that is intended for students who wish to complete a capstone project related to this class material. ANTH 359 /359C introduces the field of international and global health from the perspective of medical anthropology. Key health problems in the world are identified and anthropological research on these issues is presented and examined. The course covers current international and global health issues and reviews the history of anthropological engagement in the field. Students who enroll in ANTH 359C must attend all the ANTH 359 classes and complete extra work in order to meet the capstone requirement. Counts as a Capstone Project course. Prereq: Declared Anthropology major with Junior standing or above. No previous or current enrollment in ANTH 359 .
