The range of cultural phenomena including language, social organization, religion, and culture change, and the relevance of anthropology for contemporary social, economic, and ecological problems. Students will have the opportunity to appreciate the global scope of the human experience, identifying differences as well as commonalities, by exploring examples from societies and cultures from around the world.
