This hands-on course serves as an introduction to dissection, providing an immersive experience in human gross anatomy through direct cadaveric exploration. The course focuses exclusively on four regions (thorax, upper limb, abdomen, and lower limb), allowing participants to gain knowledge of anatomical structures and relationships in these regions. Students will engage in self-directed learning, collaborating with peers and utilizing anatomical resources to enhance their understanding as they meticulously dissect and explore the human body. Emphasis will be placed on developing essential dissection techniques, critical thinking skills, and practical applications of anatomical knowledge. This course has two laboratory sessions per week. Students can enroll for 2, 3, or 4 credits with the number of credits corresponding to the number of regions dissected. Prereq: ANAT 301 .
