Catalog description

This course examines some of the more complex areas of U.S. GAAP related to business combinations, consolidations, foreign currency transactions, and hedging foreign currency risk through the use of derivative instruments such as forward contracts and options. An overview of SEC, governmental, and not-for-profit accounting will also be covered. Prereq: ACCT 301 .
