Water Policy and Regulation

Catalog description

In this policy course, students will learn about the major laws and regulations pertaining to water policy at the local, state and federal levels of government. They will also study the processes by which the laws and regulations are created, and the actors that influence and implement those laws and regulations. The course will also address western United States water policy, emphasizing Washington State water policy, water rights, and current issues impacting water supply, policy and regulation.
