Web Server and Services

Catalog description

Students in this Information Technology (IT) course will learn the set-up, operation, security, and administration of web servers on multiple platforms. Practical experience is gained in configuring web servers, troubleshooting connections, and securing and managing services. Students investigate current web and database server technologies, install, and configure servers on multiple platforms, including commercial hosting options and cloud solutions like Azure, Amazon, and Google Cloud.
