Portfolio and Resume

Catalog description

This is an independent study class. Meaning, the student must meet in person in Wayne West 319A with the instructor before the census date of 01/15/25. At this meeting, the time and frequency of future meetings depend on the student's schedule. This course covers resume writing, interview skills, and the preparation and presentation of an art portfolio. Emphasis is placed on the preparation of a portfolio of original artwork, the preparation of a photographic portfolio, approaches to resume writing, and interview techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to photograph and present a digital portfolio and write an effective resume.
