This theory and lab course introduces special aspects of veterinary medicine, including emergency care of the critically ill patient. Emphasis is placed on the general care, anatomy and physiology, and surgical and medical nursing of avian, reptile, and small mammal species. Hands-on experience is gained through practical application. completion of term 3 courses.
