Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive study in the principles required in surgical and dental procedures assisting. Emphasis is placed on the identification and care of surgical instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and preparation for a variety of surgical and dental procedures. The concepts of post-operative care, physical rehabilitation, and client communication are also explored.
