Catalog description

This course focuses on dentistry, emergency, and critical care. Dental prophylaxis and radiographs will be performed with an emphasis on client education regarding dental preventative and post-procedure care. Students will discuss and perform proper emergency response protocols and analyze emergency and critical care situations. The proper techniques required to place a bandage, cast, and splint on animals will be performed in this course. VA130, VA140, VA150, VA160, and VA170.
