Catalog description

Under direct supervision, at the assigned clinical site, the student will perform non-sterile and sterile surgical case management duties. In conjunction with STC4, the student must participate in a minimum of 120 select surgical cases. Assignments may include the sterile processing department, preoperative holding area, surgery department, and the post- anesthesia care unit. This is a credit/no credit course.
