Catalog description

This course builds on previously learned content on medication dosage and solutions and the role of the professional nurse in drug therapy. Content includes principal actions, therapeutic uses, and adverse effects of the major classifications of drugs used by patients across the lifespan. Nursing responsibilities, ethical considerations, legal implications, and dosage calculations are incorporated throughout the course.
