Catalog description
This course provides the foundation upon which students build their nursing practice and develop their ability to use the nursing process, critical thinking, therapeutic communication, and basic nursing skills in clinical settings. Students gain clinical experience in the non-acute-care and/or acute-care setting, providing holistic care for adult and geriatric clients with predictable outcomes and are introduced to working collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
