This course focuses on introducing maternity and pediatric nursing care. The role of the nurse in maternity care is family- centered for the mother and newborn utilizing the nursing process. Pediatric nursing care utilizing the nursing process for infants, children and adolescents is addressed. A minimum grade of C is required to pass this course.
