Pharmacy Technology Externship

Catalog description

This externship places students in a professional pharmacy setting under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or approved supervisor. Students apply the technical, operational, and patient care skills acquired throughout the program while performing pharmacy technician duties. Emphasis is placed on professional conduct, accuracy, ethical behavior, and compliance with institutional policies and applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
