This theory and lab course integrates professional ethics, laws and regulations, scope of practice, and therapeutic communication with business planning, operations, and marketing for massage therapy practice. Health emergency preparedness topics are also reviewed. Students perform applications such as Swedish strokes, joint mobilizations, and stretching while using sound body mechanics, draping, and standard precautions.
