Externship

Catalog description

This externship course offers field experience in an actual work environment, providing an opportunity for students to practice, under direct supervision of a clinical instructor, skills they have learned. Types of facilities for externship might include hospitals, long-term care, private practice, or other medical facilities. Student hours are tracked on a weekly time sheet that is submitted to the campus at the end of each week. coursework and a 2.0 GPA. This is a credit/no credit course.
