Medical Office Management

Catalog description

Students will apply principles of resource management to a medical practice office setting. A variety of medical office systems, including patient scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, finance and accounting systems, and medical records will be discussed. Students will explore legal and ethical issues in healthcare, and gain an awareness of federal and state laws and the agencies that enforce them. This is an upper division online course.
