Catalog description
This theory and lab course explores the medical management of various species including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, swine, and camelids. It covers a wide range of topics including general husbandry, methods of restraint and handling, techniques for collecting diagnostic samples, administering treatments, common diseases, preventive medicine, as well as anesthesia and surgical procedures specific to each species. Hands-on experience is gained through practical application.
