Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to the principles of pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, medication interactions and potential adverse medication reactions. Emphasis is placed on drug classifications and nursing care related to the safe administration of medication to patients across the life span. A minimum grade of C is required to pass this course. Corequisite: RN23, RN23L, RN24 and RN24L.
