Advanced Respiratory Practice for the Critical Care Patient

Catalog description

The focus of this course is to prepare the Respiratory Care Practitioner to act as an effective team member in the critical care setting, while understanding the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to critical care. The course will assist the non-intensivist in dealing with the sudden deterioration of critically ill patients and prepares the therapist to be a high functioning member of the interdisciplinary team. A minimum grade of C is required to pass this course. This is an upper division online course.
