Catalog description
This course covers the theory of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and related pharmacology of the endocrine and reproductive systems. An overview of pharmaceutical dosage forms, pharmacokinetics, terminology, abbreviations and symbols, the difference between trade and generic drugs and interpretation of prescriptions in relation to these systems will be included. This course will also cover the physical and chemical properties of drugs. Interpretations of doctor’s orders along with prescription filling, refilling, and labeling procedures are practiced. A minimum grade of C is required to pass this course.
