Pharmacy Technology Capstone

Catalog description

This capstone course prepares students for entry into the pharmacy technology profession through focused review and application of program content. Emphasis is placed on preparation for national certification examination and meeting state requirements for licensure as a pharmacy technician. Students also learn the processes for continuing education, license maintenance, and certification renewal to ensure long-term professional compliance. This culminating course integrates knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program to support a successful transition into pharmacy practice. Successful completion of all technical coursework and a 2.0 CGPA. This is an online course. This a CR/NR course.
