Catalog description

This course expands on the foundational knowledge gained in DH115, with a focus on advanced oral assessments, radiographic techniques, and effective plaque control strategies. Emphasis is placed on the techniques of oral prophylaxis, polishing, fluoride application, dietary counseling, and tobacco cessation programs. These techniques will be reinforced and applied in a clinical setting, ensuring students gain practical, hands-on experience. This course contains theory, lab and clinical components.
