Catalog description

This theory and lab course introduces the fundamental principles of biological science emphasizing the common attributes of all living organisms. Topics addressed include the nature of science, the scientific method, chemical structure of living matter, cell structure and function of the cell, metabolism, DNA structure and gene expression, reproduction, genetics, evolution, and ecology. This is an upper division online course.
