Medical Office Administration Externship

Catalog description

This supervised, hands-on externship places students in a clinical setting. Under the direct guidance of a site supervisor, students apply the administrative and professional skills learned in prior courses. Students must maintain professional conduct and follow Carrington College and site policies, comply with state and federal rules (HIPAA, OSHA), protect patient confidentiality, and complete required logs and evaluations. and a 2.0 CGPA.
