LVN to RN Transition – Lab

Catalog description

This course facilitates LVNs’ transition to the role and responsibilities of the RN. Emphasis is placed on knowledge and application of the nursing process, critical thinking, communication skills, problem-solving and decision-making in the RN role. Successful completion of the course requires satisfactory demonstration of specified clinical skills and competencies prior to enrolling in subsequent RN courses. Completion of this course is required for taking the RN150 final examination. Corequisite: RN150. This is a credit/no credit course.
