Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to nursing and the roles of the nurse as well as profession related and patient care concepts. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, quality care. An introduction to the nursing process provides a decision-making framework to assist students in developing effective clinical judgment skills. A minimum grade of C is required to pass this course. Corequisite: RN10L and RN12
