Physical Agents and Soft Tissue Mobilization

Catalog description

This course introduces use of evidence-based therapeutic modalities in physical therapy practice. Lectures and lab experience develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for use of electrical stimulation, heat, cold, ultrasound, diathermy, laser, and hydrotherapy. The technique of soft tissue mobilization as a therapeutic modality is also presented.
