Lab Procedures

Catalog description

Students will be instructed in venipuncture/capillary techniques and a variety of CLIA waived and Point of Care Testing (POCT). The student will be familiarized with various laboratory techniques, hematology tests, and established values. Students will also be instructed in CPR/First Aid and rapid response procedures. A minimum grade of C or better is required to pass this course.
