Wellness and Technology Essentials

Catalog description
This course introduces students to essential digital tools and personal wellness concepts that support healthy living in a modern, connected world. Students will learn to navigate productivity software, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browsing, while gaining foundational computer terminology and concepts. Alongside developing digital literacy, students will explore key dimensions of health—physical, psychological, social, and environmental. Topics include stress management, nutrition, fitness, sexuality, disease prevention, and substance use. Students will reflect on their own health behaviors and evaluate lifestyle choices using technology to support lifelong wellness. This is a blended course.
