Catalog description
This course introduces areas of the humanities such as history, philosophy, literature and the visual and performing arts. Students analyze and evaluate cultural artifacts such as paintings, poetry, music, dance, film and architecture and develop connections among these works and their historical and philosophical contexts. Discussions, writings, oral presentations, and group activities prepare students for more advanced inquiry in subsequent courses. This is an online course.
