Catalog description

This course introduces the principles of physics pertinent to the use of radiation in the clinical setting. Topics include the structure of matter, principles of electromagnetism, fundamentals of X-ray production, treatment units, nuclear transformations, interactions of ionizing radiation and measurement of radiation. Co- requisites: RTT 210, 215, 220, 240.
