Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the student with a base of knowledge from which practicing radiographers can make informed decisions about technical factors and diagnostic image quality. It provides an in-depth study of X-ray production and X-ray interaction with matter. In addition, photographic and geometric properties of images will be studied as well as the effects of scatter radiation. Lab sessions will be incorporated into the course to emphasize the components of the lecture material.
