Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the student with a base of knowledge from which practicing radiographers can make informed decisions about technical factors and diagnostic image quality. Included will be concepts of the science and technology of imaging, basic concepts of mathematics, fundamentals of physics, the atom, electromagnetism and the X-ray imaging system. Additionally, this course provides an in-depth study of X-ray production, the X-ray tube and the X-ray emission process.
